We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our team. Position Description
The scheduler will be responsible for defining and documenting project scope, guidelines, and coordination of resources to execute the project schedule. The scheduler will work with the project team to build, manage and execute the project schedule and project financials information as related to the schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction is preferred and not required
Power Generation experience and knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement, and manufacturing principles and methodology
Must have above average organizational, communication, and computer skills
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Primavera SureTrak/P3; Cost estimation programs
Other
Minimal travel to locations as required
May support other executives as needed
Performs other duties as may be determined from time to time

Qualifications
Proficient with creating, integrating, and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software
Knowledgeable and capable of producing and managing a resource/cost loaded life cycle of a construction project from concept to engineering/design, to procurement and construction, to start-up/implementation, and to operation and utilization
Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) and recovery plan scheduling
Accurately and timely prepare schedules to ensure demand is satisfied
Monitor and update master schedules to reflect requirement changes
Perform schedule review and ensure schedule contents are in conformance with contract requirements
Able to coordinate information input into specific studies. Evaluate study results and recommends conclusions for project team consideration and discussion.
Responsible for integration of activities and total work scope identification
Use proper communication methods to inform team of all changes when they are known
Assist in providing long term and short term forecasts
Perform productivity analysis of Solar Field construction operations and verify results by staffing and crew analysis of work operations by craft
Provide entitlement analyses of complex contractor claims and disputes based upon the forensic research and project records independent of the specific contractor request in order to furnish project complete risk exposure analysis of all potential contractor claims
Create and implement measurement systems for established processes, analyze performance metric results, and identify improvements
Coordinate project reporting to clients
Interface with client, contractors, vendors, and project team to resolve schedule related issues
Manage manpower requirements for projects
Monitor deliverables and standard bill of materials
Support project organizational, administrative activities, and compilation of historical data
Must have 10 plus years experience in heavy construction industry
Travel
10% of the time
