The Proposals & State Adoptions Coordinator is responsible for helping to identify, develop, and produce federal, state, and school district competitive bid and state adoption responses that deliver new sales opportunities for Carnegie Learning Math Curricula and professional development services. In this role, the Proposals & State Adoptions Coordinator will also support creative marketing programs to districts and states where Carnegie Learning as a preferred or adopted vendor in order to support sales in converting opportunities to revenue.
The Proposals & State Adoptions Coordinator reports to the Vice President, Corporate Communications & Grants Programs and works closely with other cross-departmental teams predominantly collaborating with Sales and Marketing Services to develop and execute sales support programs.

Job functions:
Grants & proposals
Identify grant and proposal opportunities through a series of web-based channels and phone follow-up
Review opportunities and develop written abstracts to communicate value of the opportunity to sales
Schedule team conference calls and create agendas for review of opportunities
Create grant/proposal outlines and task lists based upon RFP requirements
Develop written narrative for key sections of responses
Manage completion, signing, and notarization of mandatory forms
Assist in production and shipping of final responses
Catalog and track submissions, success rates, and revenue generated from grants and proposals
Develop a rubric for assessing both successes and lost awards, creating valuable recommendations based on lessons learned
Develop thoughtful, replicable processes to improve efficiencies on an ongoing basis
Draft compelling marketing campaign copy communicating value of products and services in follow-up to schools in districts that have awarded the company RFPs
Curricula Adoptions
Understand the adoption process/timeline and product requirements in order to align best with each adoption state or school district
Act as project manager for each textbook adoption -- determine project plan, track progress, identify and remove roadblocks, hold team members accountable, and act as point-person with state-level relationships, and depositories
Assist regional selling teams in developing state-specific sales/marketing plans and materials
Coordinate and support applicable textbook adoption caravans (or other local events)
