Provider Outreach Representative (POR) ensures acceptable levels of participation for client-specific innovative programs. This is achieved by outreach efforts (typically in the form of outbound calls) to ordering and/or rendering providers. Outreach Representatives also capture essential information via a proprietary tracking system to assess the effectiveness of outbound activities.
Makes outbound contacts to providers to increase program participation
Maintains essential program knowledge
Describes program purpose and benefits to providers
Accurately responds to basic provider questions
Disseminate materials as needed via multiple contact channels (e.g. fax, e-mail, etc?)
Coordinates conference calls or meetings with internal stakeholders and provider community
Makes follow-up contacts as needed to ensure marketing material is received
Proposes script modifications that may yield increased participation
Documents activity in HH tracking system
Carries out other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Must have professional phone and email communication skills
Upbeat and persuasive personality
Associates Degree in Business or HealthCare Administration (preferred)
Windows and MS Outlook proficiency
Customer Service Experience
Environment and Physical Demands:
Business Causal Dress Required
Ability to use telephone for up to 8 hours unassisted
Ability to sit for up to 8 hours unassisted
Ability to view PC screen and enter data for up to 8 hours unassisted
Ability to perform job responsibilities in professional manner at all times
Ability to comply with all company and legal policies and procedures
Ability to prioritize in a multi-task environment
