Assisting the Fee Negotiations and Bill Review departments in the resolution of provider appeals including renegotiating claims if the need arises.
Working closely with each external network (i.e. Multiplan, TRPN, HPO, BeechStreet and TNRN) on the prompt resolution of provider disputes.
Responsible for contacting clients to notify them of all resolved appeals and working with them to provide status on pending issues.
Assisting the Claim Associates in handling payment status and other claim inquiries by working directly with providers.
Responsible for all incoming provider inquiry calls relating to claims that have been previously adjusted.
Performs other related responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
High School Diploma and/or some College
2+ years of experience within healthcare industry
Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel & Internet Explorer
Strong prioritizing & organizational skills
Excellent customer service & telephone skills
