The Opportunity: We are seeking a Public Relations Manager to nurture a strong industry network, support recruitment, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing communication programs. Responsibilities will include:
Developing a Marketing Communications plan including strategy, goals, and tactics.
Directing social media team to monitor and engage audience across traditional and new media while leading efforts to monitor reputation, industry trends and relationship management.
Prolifically creating content for press releases, byline articles, keynote presentations.
Interviewing influential individuals and create demos and videos on consumer mobile, desktop and social application marketing
Staying on top of hot trends in the mobile apps monetization and native advertising space.
Building relationships with thought leaders to grow awareness and generate traffic/leads.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, MassComm or a related discipline is required Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing is a plus
2 years of experience in Public Relations required
Demonstrated use of social media is required
Demonstrated interest in consumer technology, especially marketing applications and devices
