PR Manager is an appointed administrator for corporate social media communities (i.e. Facebook Page, Forums). The PR Manager is responsible for moderating User Generated Content that appears and escalating any issues to the appropriate internal/client teams.
? Assist with creation, conception, and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns (field events, product releases, partner campaigns, etc.)
? Communicate and coordinate client service, production and strategy/planning teams ensuring that community strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives.
? Utilize social listening tools like Spout Social and Hootsuite to generate insights
? Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable, client-facing reports that lead to optimization
? Create and maintain Editorial Content Calendars, including writing all outbound social media content for PR, marketing, engagement and customer care
? Post relevant content in accordance with Content Calendar
? Manage the posting of third-party contributors (agencies assisting with PR)
? Ability to get content from various sources including internal parties and third party vendors
? Respond to comments, when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user?s experience.
? Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand.
? Escalate User Generated Content, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders
? Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications
? +3 years of experience in PR and managing social media platforms or communities for brands, +5 years overall
? Understanding of popular social networks ? design, functionality, users
? Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documents that reflects the holistic understanding and implementation of the role of social media and its effects.
? Understands key Marketing concepts and the contribution of social media to corporate business objectives.
? Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation tools and skills.
? Utilized social listening tools like Sprout Social and Hootsuite.
? Understanding analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Excel.
? Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
? Degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields, or relevant experience
