Publisher Business Development Executive Kosmix

The Kosmix Publisher Development Team is looking for a new professional to join our growing team. The Publisher Development Team is responsible for developing mutually successful partnerships with online publishers that support the Kosmix Publisher initiatives while delivering value to publishers . To be successful in this role, you must extremely comfortable selling to publishers, via cold calling, email and the occasional in-person meeting.

In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating partnerships with online publishers and closing multiple new accounts each week. You will be responsible for all elements of the deal - prospecting, analyzing, negotiating, and finally, closing. We are looking for passionate people who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, possess a proven sales success record, and have a clear understanding of web monetization strategies.


Responsibilities:

Aggressively gain penetration into the online publishing community via current network of contacts and proactive prospecting

Feel comfortable communicating the value of Kosmix products to an online publisher, and pitching to different levels of contacts

Resolve business issues with partners promptly

Thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Accurately analyze, negotiate, and close deals with publishers

Exceed quarterly targets

Develop and nurture strong relationships with our most valuable publishers

Highly self-motivated, and work well both as an individual contributor and in a team environment



Requirements

1-3 yrs of sales experience in an Online Media environment

Exceptional understanding of the online industry a MUST

Previous experience of managing publisher relationships is a BIG PLUS

Track record of building relationships and exceeding sales targets

Entrepreneurial, action-oriented individual who can accomplish goals from start to finish

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proactive, driven, and looking for fast-paced challenging environment

Network of contacts in the Web publishing business is a BIG PLUS, especially in key verticals such as Entertainment, Business/Finance, Health, and Lifestyle.
