Undertone is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Publisher Certification Lead to join our team. The Publisher Certification Lead is responsible for driving adoption, integration and certification of standard and proprietary rich-media ad formats across Undertone?s premium publisher portfolio. The role involves working closely with publisher clients, rich-media & ad platform partners and internal pub sales, client services and product/tech teams to drive publisher certification. This role with also assist in developing strategy, process and execution plan to accelerate adoption of our brand-focused high-impact ad solutions. This person will act as a key technical liaison to our tech team to address deep technical issues and refine best practices to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the certification process. A successful candidate will be a business-minded team player with a strong understanding of ad and web technologies that wants to delight their external and internal partners.
? Take a leadership role in accelerating publisher adoption and ensuring the successful on-boarding and integration/certification of publisher ad products.
? Act as the key point of contact to provide professional, courteous and prompt certification and technical assistance for sell-side premier publishers
? Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with key business, operational and technical constituents
? Integrate and certify proprietary and 3rd-party ad products with publisher and tech partners, including ad-servers.
? Excellent communication and relationship skills; able to professionally communicate technical information to people of varying technical knowledge
? Outstanding project management skills and ability to multitask effectively while managing multiple projects
? Strong working knowledge of web & ad technologies to communicate effectively with partner tech teams, handle basic certification and pass requirements to Undertone tech team if required
? Act as key internal and partner technical liaison to the tech team in regards to proper implementation of ad products and related campaigns (ad tags, reporting discrepancies, click tracking, etc)
? The role will handle publisher troubleshooting related to above and ensure certifications are up-to-date.
? 3-5 years of online advertising and/or related publisher experience in an ad technology integration role
? At least 3 years of work experience in a client services environment.
? Experience leading a team via influence and/or direct management responsibility
? Technical aptitude and ability to converse clearly with clients
? Analytical mind capable of learning quickly, adapting to change and problem solving
? Experience with certifying rich media formats from companies, including MediaMind, PointRoll, Flite, Spongecell, Innovid and more.
? Understanding of how ads are delivered today across various ad formats and screens, including workings of an ad server (Dart, Mediamind, Atlas, LiveRail, etc), tags, types of tags,etc.
? Experience with debugging tools like Fiddler, HTTP Debugger and Firebug, etc
? Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS , Vast/Vpaid and Flash
