Smaato, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Publisher Development Associate to assist in growing the company?s managed accounts base in the Americas. This role will focus primarily on prospecting and setting appointments with qualified publisher/ multiplier accounts for the Publisher Development team to close. Prospecting will include but not be limited to cold calling, networking at local events and attending trade shows. Occasional over night travel may be required. The ideal candidate would be a confident individual confortable in his/her own skin that posses a positive outlook on life and has great interpersonal skills. He/she should also have a entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. This is a consultative sales position and is located in San Francisco, Ca.
Prospect through outbound cold calls
Identify key decision makers within prospected targets
Effectively communicate the Smaato value proposition
Set appointments for publisher development team managers
Work closely with publisher development managers, marketing managers and account managers to identify key partnerships and opportunities
Desired Skills & Experience:
Posses a ?Hunters? mindset
Self-starter who enjoys building long term relationships
High energy personality with excellent time management skills
Strong verbal/communication skills with the ability to articulate effectively
2 to 3 years of consultative telesales experience
A strong business acumen is a must
1 to 2 years of advertising experience desired but not required
BA degree desired but not required
