Publisher Marketing Director Federated Media Publishing
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Role and Responsibility:
FM?s Publisher Marketing Director will be responsible for building a Publisher marketing strategy from the ground up. You will create an integrated marketing program targeted to our community of over 100K Publishers. You will need to be equal parts analytical and creative, using data to measure the success of your marketing programs. You will report into the VP of Publisher Services.
Elements of this role include:
Marketing Communication - evaluate all existing outgoing communication and develop an overarching marketing communications strategy which leverages email, product collateral, social media, and more.
Product Marketing - launch new ad products through marketing programs that drive awareness and adoption by the Publisher community.
Lead Generation - develop and implement high impact campaigns to generate Publisher leads coming into the sales funnel.
Sales Strategy ? create, monitor and iterate on processes within Salesforce to improve marketing campaign effectiveness, sales tactics and pipeline efficiencies.
Analytics and Reporting - establish and report on campaign metrics and Publisher data. Must love the science of marketing as well as the art.
Market Research - leverage internal and external resources to learn all there is to know about our industry, our competitors, and emerging opportunities.
Professional Background and Experience:
Preferred experience and characteristics include:
6+ years of product marketing, marketing strategy, and/or demand generation. Preference given to those from the online media space.
Knowledge and passion about digital media and the Independent Web.
Self-starter and natural leader with a strong desire to win and grow personally and professionally.
Ability to handle multiple challenges at once and being able to prioritize those tasks accordingly.
Experience with all areas of marketing including online marketing, campaign planning, website building, SEO, events, and marketing communication.
Experience with Salesforce.
Experience working closely with Sales, Product Managers, and Engineers.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
