As the Publisher Services Account Manager for HotChalk, in Campbell, CA your primary mission will be to co-ordinate the day-to-day management of HotChalk?s publisher network. This exciting role will focus on maintaining close relationships with existing partners and expanding into new business opportunities. Your previous online media experience will be helpful as you help on-board new publishers and troubleshoot trafficking discrepancies with existing publishers. Responsibilities:
Build and maintain day-to-day relationships by working with publishers to ensure HotChalk is an essential partner for achieving their goals in monetization and building their brand.
Provide impeccable customer service for all publisher relation issues.
Manage process of publisher on-boarding, campaign set-up and ongoing account management with publishers.
Proactively engage publishers in order to find ways of improving campaign workflow, lowering discrepancies, and improving turnaround times.
Actively maintain HotChalk publisher knowledge bases, both external facing and internal.
Regularly update other departments on new publisher developments and trafficking requirements.
Ensure that feedback is communicated in an organized manner to the correct departments with regard to product requirements and enhancements.
Proactively monitor campaigns with particular focus on initial campaign launches in order to ensure that publishers have properly deployed tracking.
Troubleshoot, track, and resolve publisher concerns and help find a solution.- Conduct and/or participate in meetings and trainings with publishers.
Field questions from Sales team about publisher capabilities.
Educate clients on product feature updates and advertising opportunities, ensuring their marketing efforts reach their full potential through our platform.
Engage publishers to optimize ad placements for the best possible performance and revenue.
Guide publishers through the technical process of integrating HotChalk ads on their sites.
Act as the first line of the defense in troubleshooting technical issues.
Requirements:
At least 1 or 2 years of ad network, ad agency, or publishing experience (direct experience managing advertising relationships with online publishers is a major plus).
Must be proficient in Excel (formula knowledge is a major plus).
Outstanding customer service skills.
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting and analytic abilities.
Working knowledge of ad tags (HTML, Macromedia Flash and Javascript a plus).
BA/BS or equivalent required.
