Our Data Sciences team is looking for a Python Software Engineer. This is an early career position working on our Scientific Infrastructure team. Your job will be to support and extend our current data warehouse and analytic tooling.

What you will be doing:
Building and supporting our internal data warehouse
Creating and enhancing our data processing technologies Including:
Developing tools to automate the loading and unloading of data in a service-oriented architecture.
Using and evaluating, high-volume data technologies such as AWS Redshift and Hive/Pig on Hadoop.
Building tools for data scientists and business teams to create and validate new products.
What we are looking for:
Solid python skills
The potential and desire to rise into positions of technical leadership
Familiarity with large dataset manipulation
Experience building analytic or dashboard technologies
Comfort with developing on Linux
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
Not required, but highly desirable:
Experience with Java development
Proficiency with Hadoop with Hive, Pig or equivalent
Exposure to Linux Scripting and command line tools
Working knowledge of one or more data processing frameworks such Kettle, Talend, Informatica, SSIS, Storm, etc.
Familiarity with AWS, EMR, and/or columnar storage technologies
