Q/A Test Engineer Lumeta

This person will be expected to test a complex computer network discovery product. Black box and grey box testing will be required. Experience with automated GUI testing using Quicktest Pro, Selenium, or other tools desired. Will work closely with agile development team to enhance the overall QA efficiency via automation. Evaluate requirements, design, write, execute, and automate test cases, and perform other QA test tasks as necessary.The following qualifications are required for this position:
Experience of QA as it applies to the Software Development Life Cycle
Knowledge of UNIX and scripting language (e.g. Shell, perl, ruby, python, etc)
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related protocols (e.g UDP, DNS, DHCP etc)
Knowledge of SNMP v1/v2c/v3
Familiarity with high-level programming languages, e.g. C/C#/C++, Visual Basic, e.g.
Knowledge of a defect tracking tools like Jira
Knowledge of Databases and SQL, e.g. Postgres
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team of developers and testers
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
The following skills and experience would be helpful for this position:
Experience with FreeBSD and Windows environments
Knowledge of Quality Management tools like Quality Center or Zephyr
Experience with Agile development
Experience with Continuous Integration
Experience with testing Adobe Flash/Flex applications
Knowledge of configuring routers/switches/firewalls/etc. desirable
