This is a fantastic entry level opportunity for a bright and computer savvy, recent graduate who is interested in moving their career forward in the field of QA or Product. The E-commerce Data Analyst will be responsible for monitoring data quality, based on reports and feedback and acting to ensure that the site and the data within it, is of the highest quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
On a day to day basis, the E-Commerce Data Analyst will be responsible for the following;
Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot data errors
Manage verification queue of internal reports
Monitoring the quality of sets of data based on images, titles, classification and product relevancy
Actively use and understand the internal toolset
Design and define requirements for new tools
Managing a set of complex rules that determine how the site will interpret and categorize product information
Understand how feature data rules are processed and diagnosing errors
Handle internal data questions and requests
Design browse taxonomies and search filters based on product research
Define and maintain search filter definitions
Manage disambiguation of specific searches
Access and maintain usability of current tool set and ensure that instructions and documentation is up to date
Identify potential new tools and prioritize new tool requests with development team
Manage versions and tickets for tools project in JIRA
REQUIREMENTS:
Related work experience within the online space
Relational database / SQL basic knowledge is essential
Experience with HTML, PHP, AJAX or similar scripting languages is preferred
Extremely high attention to detail is crucial
Ability and keen to learn new applications or tools
