Job Description
The candidate is expected to develop sophisticated test automation solutions based on WebDriver in an enterprise SaaS environment. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and have strong communication skills, but also be able to work with minimal supervision.
?Conducts integration testing for functionality and develops automation scripts for test cases using Java, JUnit, and WebDriver
?Participates in test design meetings; makes recommendations for particular components based on technical trade-offs
?Learns, uses, and enhances WebDriver-based test automation tools to produce large volumes of automated functional test scripts
?Estimates tasks, efforts, and resource requirements for assigned responsibilities in keeping with Agile practices
?Performs complex bug verification, release testing, and test prioritization
?Effectively documents technical issues, changes to code, etc
?Serves as a technical resource for others within the organization that require test automation understanding and expertise
Job Requirements
?BS in Computer Science (preferred) or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
?2+ years of experience in software development with strong object-oriented skills
?Good object-oriented design and development experience using Java/J2EE
?Good working knowledge of Eclipse and similar development tools
?Excellent skills in test research and analysis, planning and implementation
?Experience using Oracle and SQL Server
?Strong problem solving and analytical skills
?Excellent organization, time management and documentation skills
?Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
?Ability to function and contribute in a team environment
?Experience in latest development technologies, such as Spring, WebWork, Hibernate, Velocity a plus
?Experience in agile development process, including process, planning, estimation, and integration into quality assurance a plus
?Experience using Ant and creating custom Ant tasks a plus
?Experience with Rally and/or Quality Center a plus
?Experience developing and/or automating software used by mobile devices a plus
