The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing & executing testing strategies, automation and when applicable make process improvement recommendations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up test environments
Design, develop and improve test plans, test cases, execution reports, and other department documentation
Prepare time estimates and schedule for QA activities
Identify, isolate, and document defects clearly and concisely in the defects database
Develop and maintain automated test scripts within the Selenium test framework
Execute manual and automated test scripts for existing and future projects
Regression test incremental product releases manually and through automated testing tools
Actively participate in daily Scrums and project planning meetings
Perform W3C compliant cross-platform testing through all phases of the product development life cycle
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with test automation using Selenium, NUnit, and Visual Studio
Hands on experience of one or more of the following: ASP,.?NET, ActiveX, C#, Java
Ability to juggle multiple projects
Planning, coordinating and conducting performance/?benchmarking exercises for product certification on various platforms
Regression, system and user acceptance testing
Black Box, Gray Box and/or White Box Testing
Performance load and performance testing
Prior experience with Agile SCRUM highly preferred
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s Degree/Master?s preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Five years of Software QA
Strong skills with software QA methodologies
Experience with QA automation or scripting
Proficient with the Web and Internet technologies,
QA experience with browser interfaces and Web servers
Solid understanding of HTML and XML technologies
Hands-on experience with both grey box, and black box testing
Experience with MSSQL and/or MySQL
Excellent ability to participate and cooperate in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
