The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests using Java and Selenium. You will have the opportunity to join a young, dynamic, fast growing Quality Assurance team dedicated to building a world class organization at one of the fastest growing companies in NYC. We?re looking for somebody with a real passion for the software quality assurance process and who wants to apply technology to automate and make that process better.Automate manual test cases using a combination of Java and Selenium
Execute automated regression test suites to ensure new functionality has not affected other parts of the site
Work with the manual testing team on identifying test cases to automate
Meet with engineering and business teams to understand site functionality
Research new testing techniques and technologies
2+ years experience in test automation and software quality assurance and development in a web environment
1+ years experience coding in a high-level object oriented language such as Java or Python
1+ years experience using Selenium and Selenium Grid
Proficient in SQL and executing back-end database validations
Be able to provide test suite execution reports to management in a clear and concise manner
