? Work effectively and manage a team (teams consist of 3-6 full time employees, and may be supplemented with part time help for additional manpower or specialized skills.)
? Hands on management.
? Complete all work diligently, with a commitment to quality and in a timely fashion.
? Examine internal code/markup of software systems to discover defects in logic or performance.
? Discover and implement methods of automating tests for software products to replace manual tests or perform tests which cannot be done manually.
? Report problems and accurately assess the potential risk of software defects.
? Analyze software products for defects for long durations and repeatedly test similar functions with subsequent iterations of the product under test.
? Complete additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager or other management personnel.
? Other duties as assigned
? Familiarity with PowerShell, MVC Framework, MSBuild, Java Script, load testing and performance testing.
? 3+ years managing a team in a fast paced company.
? Setting up and maintaining virtual test environments.
? Experience with identifying potential vulnerabilities for web, database, and IT infrastructure.
? Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
? Experience with test automation frameworks (White, WatiN, MSTest, or similar frameworks).
? Ability to script automated tests as opposed to only using a record playback functionality.
? Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team oriented environment.
? Proactive and resourceful in investigating issues and finding the appropriate resolution(s).
? Experience in implementing and executing test plans.
? Detail-oriented with solid organization skills.
? Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and capable of learning new development languages and paradigms without supervision.
? Proficient knowledge of C#, XAML, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, WF, .NET 3.5, ASP.NET, LINQ, NUnit, HTML, SQL, XML.
? Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Team Explorer, or similar development and collaboration software from different vendors.
? Ability to write detailed reports on findings and articulate them in a manner that is professional and easy to understand.
? Self-directed learner, able to adapt quickly to new software systems.
? Capable of multi-tasking and switching focus between multiple tasks and systems.
? Capable of handling stressful work situations when releases are delayed.
? Ability to work autonomously during self-directed testing efforts.
? Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents associated with software products such as requirements, business rules, design diagrams, or sample information.
? Able to present him/herself effectively, professionally and courteously (even in stressful situations) through face-to-face interactions and through oral and written communications.
? Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills. Adept with electronic communication.
? College degree in computer science or related field.
