The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing & executing testing strategies, automation and when applicable make process improvement recommendations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up test environments
Design, develop and improve test plans, test cases, and other department documentation
Prepare time estimates and schedule for testing activities
Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely
Develop and Execute test scripts for existing and future projects
Regression test incremental product releases through automated testing tools
W3C compliant cross-platform testing through all phases of the product development life cycle
Develop an understanding of Test Automation, and build at least a basic understanding of Automation development utilizing identified toolset.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands on experience of one or more of the following: ASP,.?NET, ActiveX, C#, Java
Ability to work in an Agile SDLC
Ability to juggle multiple projects
Test automation using Selenium, WaTin, Visual Studio a plus
Regression, system and user acceptance testing
Black Box, Gray Box and/or White Box Testing
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
QA experience with browser interfaces and Web servers
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML technologies
Excellent ability to participate and cooperate in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
