As a QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with an engineering organization where everyone writes tests and thinks about our products in terms of not only what to make the code do but how to make that code testable. Your primary focus will be to channel that energy into effective test design, implementation, and maintenance. From the details of an automation framework, to managing and utilizing a multi-hundred machine lab, to the creation and review of test plans for internal and customer use, at Permabit you can do it all. Requirements:
Extremely rigorous test design skills
Clear and precise communications skills
Experience creating detailed automated acceptance test plans
Experience working on challenging large-scale software engineering projects
Familiarity with both Windows and Unix environments
Desirable Experience:
Record of delivering stable, reliable projects
Experience in API testing
Experience with distributed systems and common faults
Experience with fault-tolerant and highly-available systems
Some or all of C/C++, Perl, Java, and Python
Performance measurement and analysis
Experience with design of experiments analysis (statisticians welcome)
