The QA Engineer will be responsible for the following:
?Engage in detailed requirements and ambiguity reviews for test development.
?Develop high quality test cases from complicated requirements documentation.
?Provide effort estimates on test development and execution engagements.
?Quickly absorb complicated technological content in a fast paced environment.
?Excel in an independent process driven professional QA environment.
?Develop QA processes, procedures, and methods as needed.
?Maintain a strong knowledge base for a suite of technically complex products.
?Provide mentoring and guidance to an offshore QA team.
?Lead peer reviews on QA deliverables and work product.
?Lead team meetings to improve quality/performance/knowledge as needed.
?Lead by example, excelling in test development and execution as required.
?Design, create, execute and maintain manual test cases.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, IT, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
-Minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance.
-Minimum of 8 years experience providing requirements and ambiguity reviews.
-Minimum of 8 years of requirements based test development experience.
-Minimum of 5 years experience as a manual test development lead and reviewer.
-Minimum of 3 years experience in QA processes/method development.
-Applicant must have superior verbal and written communications skills.
-Strong experience testing web-based products is required.
-Experience working with offshore in a lead role is preferred.
-Experience with requirements based testing preferred.
