QA Engineer, Policy Compliance (Beijing) Qualys

As a QA Engineer on the Policy Compliance team you will be part of a motivated engineering team that is responsible for ensuring the quality of the Policy Compliance application. This position is to be located in Beijing, China.
Responsibilities
The Policy Compliance QA Engineer will be responsible for testing and verifying new signatures and controls developed by our Signature team.You will need to be able to set, modify or remove system level properties on multiple operating systems. Working closely with the signature team you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of the product by developing both manual and automated test procedures for new and existing features as well as develop and execute test plans and prepare test reports. This will address functional as well as regression testing.
Additionally the test engineer will be responsible for bug analysis which requires the ability to reproduce and isolate faults, and perform root cause investigation.
Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience with QA and/or application development processes.
• Solid Perl and/or Shell scripting experience.
• Some admin level experience with Linux and Windows.
• Experience with packet sniffers.
• Functional knowledge of multiple protocols such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, DNS, Networking
• and Routing. Must be a critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills.
