Develop and execute quality auditing and software test plans and test suites for a variety of embedded systems and processors based on product requirements.Duties
Will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing test cases, debugging and analyzing test results, and working with development engineers to resolve issues. This job will involve documenting test procedure and test functionality, filing test results, logging bugs in defect tracking database. Will be responsible for quality auditing and out-of-box-experience testing. Will also participate in code and documentation review.
Skills
BSCS or BSEE or equivalent experience and 3 years experience in a software quality/testing environment. Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, experience working with RTOS and with automation tools and test framework is a plus. Should be knowledgeable about auditing and test methodologies, software development life cycle, C/C, shell programming, UNIX, Linux, HP-UX and/or Solaris. Experience in any of the following is a plus: x86 compatibles, MIPS, Motorola or PowerPC family of processors. Must be a US permanent resident or US citizen.
