Brightcove is looking for a Lead Developer in Test to join our already talented team. You are someone who loves to dive into new technologies and enjoys solving complicated testing problems in innovative ways. We're a small, self-organized, dedicated team working hard in order to deliver high quality software across multiple architectures and technologies. You'll be joining at a great time to have maximum impact on the future direction of the qa team and product as a whole. Our goal is to use bleeding edge technologies to automate complex user experiences. Every day we work with Ruby, Rails 3, RSpec, MongoDB, jQuery, Git, Objective-C, iOS, Java, Android, Selenium and Jasmine. You will develop new testing strategies and work with the QA and development teams to plan and release great software.

YOU
You'll be writing code (a lot of it) and testing out new features. This will range from automating ui interactions with webdriver, to writing jasmine tests running across iOS and Android devices. You'll review code and have your code reviewed. You'll look on with pride as your tests pass, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our end users. Most importantly, you'll provide a fresh outlook on features, automation architecture and project direction and will actively contribute to it on an ongoing basis. Your ability to contribute to a technical discussion mirrors your ability to listen and learn from your peers.

We use some pretty cool stuff in a lot of different ways -- Junit for Android, RSpec for Ruby, OCUnit for iOS, Selenium for http and Jasmine cross device JS testing. Things change, technologies come and go. You're passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest and greatest technologies and applying them appropriately to our projects. We don't expect you to have experience with everything, so we'll help you build on you're already rock solid base of knowledge.
