General Purpose
We're looking for people passionate about quality in securing digital TV services to manage, lead, mentor, and direct teams for productivity and quality; and to coordinate activities, schedules, and expectations with Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams in all our locations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Mentor employees to maintain/improve quality/performance/capability.
Develop, implement, and document the software test processes, procedures, and standards as well as supervise the architecture, procurement, and setup of necessary harnesses.
Evaluate and review internal/external requirements.
Interface with all test groups, internal or external to Verimatrix.
Independently examine test results to verify proper testing was performed and correct results were obtained.
Continually evaluate the processes and improve them.
Maintain metrics and implement improvements in processes.
Provide performance reviews, goals, and objectives for individuals and the team.
Maintain appropriate staff levels for team.
Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Department.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, EE or similar field is required. Further professional certifications/professional growth achievements are a plus.
8+ years real-world software experience, 3+ years must be managerial.
3+ years real-world experience managing QA in networking technologies. Experience with Digital TV technologies is a big plus.
Experience managing geographically (and also internationally) distributed teams.
Knowledge of network principles and of TCP/UDP/IP technology required; experience in video is a big plus.
Strong experience with client/server applications essential. Knowledge of processor architectures and software architectures is a big plus.
Excellent analytical skills.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and energetic team player.
