The MuleSoft Engineering team is looking for talented individuals with a passion for quality and engineering. POSITION DETAILS:
- Hands-on involvement in all areas of quality management: processes, test plan and test case creation, bug tracking lifecycle, test automation and performance testing.
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers around QA best practices â€" including both manual and automated testing.
- Strong collaboration and partnership with other engineering teams to influence engineering best practices and infuse quality throughout the development life cycle.
- Work with multiple engineering teams to enable just-in-time testing during sprints.
- Build standards around test plan creation, test cases and QA metrics.
- Focus on automation including white-box, black-box, integration and UI level testing.
- Coordinate quality checkpoints across multiple products during releases.
- Work closely with the support team to triage issues and provide regular status updates.
- Capture, monitor and communicate QA metrics across all engineering teams during sprints.
- Putting a performance testing process in place for our on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Travel a few times a year to our offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
- BS/MS in computer science or engineering discipline.
- Worked in a fast moving startup environment delivering products at a rapid pace.
- Agile experience working with engineering teams on short weekly sprints.
- Experience in leading an onshore-offshore team.
- Track record of strong QA leadership and mentoring more junior engineers.
- Expert knowledge of automation testing and best practices. Ability to convince others.
- High energy/drive â€" a highly motivated person who needs to be on top of their game.
- Fast learner and multi-tasker that can quickly take charge of all things.
- Innovative & creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize, organize and deliver on commitments.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
