Responsibilities
Work with the development team to support and improve release processes across several product lines. This will include developing and maintaining the organizations software release processes, testing release scripts, and deploying to test and production environments. This individual will also be responsible for testing of applications, documentation of issues identified and working with the development team to help debug.
Requirements
? Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
? Thorough knowledge of Linux
? Experience with Software Configurations Management tools such as Mercurial
? Understanding of build and release strategies in a LAMP environment
? Ability to build and maintain the continuous integration environment
? Innovative problem solving skills
? Ability to communicate effectively
? Documentation skills
? Ability to work under minimal supervision
? Understanding of Agile methodologies
Helpful skills
? Experience with MySQL and database scripting
? Virtualization experience
? Experience with Continuous integration environments
