QA Software Engineer Venafi

Responsibilities:

Venafi is seeking a Quality Assurance Software Engineer with strong automation, manual testing skills and experience to play a key role in testing its core product engine and management agent for Venafi?s current and next generation products.
Required Skills & Knowledge:

An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a proven track record in information technology or security products customer support. PKI direct experience is a plus. Our Technical Support Engineers must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. He/she must possess presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses.
Required Skills & Knowledge:

3 years of hands-on QA experience, both manual and automated testing.
Experience in implementing QA and Testing best practices on test planning, preparation, execution, reporting, automation, effort estimations and metrics management.
Proven track record for high quality product delivery.
Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goal(s)
Provide sound time estimates and test software on schedule, adhering to department standards and processes.
Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.
Driven, creative, and result oriented.
Experience in building testing frameworks and test automation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extensive C# and .Net testing experience.
Experience in testing applications written in C.
Experience testing database-driven applications.
Experience writing complex SQL queries.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in testing large commercial enterprise products.
Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle experience.
Experience testing internationalized applications.
Highly proficient in Unix/Linux.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with open source test automation tools.
