We are currently seeking a QA Specialist for our Green Bay, WI or Houston, TX office.
Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for designing, documenting and exercising test cases to ensure that we release a high quality software application.
They will conduct testing for application software changes and/or new releases along with writing test cases, documenting test procedures and results, maintaining valid test data to include valid test scenarios. The QA Specialist must be able to work closely with all parties involved, while maintaining a positive relationship that demands respect for quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of QA process and methodologies.
Familiar with SAAS and Web application testing.
Ability to create clear, concise defect submissions.
Vast knowledge of browsers and testing on various platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root cause.
Perform data validation by developing (and / or) executing queries against databases.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent communications skills (written and verbal) as well as experience working on multiple projects in a dynamic team environment that is fast paced.
Design, develop, enhance and execute comprehensive test case scenarios that will fully exercise software applications under test to ensure that products meet specification and are free from defects.
Identifies deficiencies in software during testing and assists development staff with analysis and corrections.
Minimum Qualifications, Education Requirements:
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
