QA Support/IT lead Catbird Networks

The Support/IT lead will be responsible for leading a small Technical Support Team and managing a small IT infrastructure in conjunction with the engineering department. Your specific duties will include day to day level 3 technical support, supporting level 1 and level 2 support personnel, maintaining and extending technical support process and procedures, managing a small set of operational servers, switches and routers. You will work closely with all departments as you grow into this position.
The ideal candidate will have a broad experience/aptitude based in support and IT operations.
The candidate can expect to:
Support and manage a small support team
Provide technical resolution to level 3 technical support cases
Operate and maintain a small set of operational servers, routers and switches in conjunction with engineering
Maintain and extend existing technical support process for legacy and new products in a growing technology market
Work in conjunction with engineering staff to solve customer and IT problems
Skills and Core Requirements
2+ years of technical support experience
Networking experience required (Router/ Switch configuration)
Experience in writing repeatable configuration procedures and help documentation
Familiarity with network security experience, i.e. Snort and Nessus
Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft server operation
Familiarity with VMware
Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
Excellent team working skills
