DescriptionPosition Summary: Build and maintain an automated test infrastructure for multiple products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
?Set up test environments, including OS, network configuration, proxy servers, etc.
?Design, develop and improve test plans, test cases, and other department documentation.
?Regression test incremental product releases.
?Prepare time estimates and schedule for testing activities.
?Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in the bug database.
?Work closely with product and engineering teams in developing test plans.
RequirementsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ?2-3 year?s experience as a software QA engineer in a software company.
?Strong skills with software QA methodologies.
?Proficient with the Web and Internet technologies, including QA experience with browser interfaces and Web servers.
?Good understanding of HTML and XML technologies.
?Hands-on experience with both grey box, and black box testing.
?Experience with databases such as MSSQL.
?Experience with defect tracking software.
?Excellent ability to participate and cooperate in a team environment.
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
?QA automation or scripting skills a plus
?A love for software testing and desire to make it efficient
Education and/or Experience:
?Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
