Ryzing is a fast-growing developer of casual social games who uses a unique sweepstakes model to allow players to instantly win cash and prizes. The QA Tester will be in charge of testing for bugs and maintaining quality of our games. This is a great opportunity for junior programmers to gain experience in one of the fastest growing industries! Candidates must be extremely detail oriented and have a positive attitude. S/he should also have outstanding project and time management skills as well as the ability to work well in cross functional teams. Responsibilities:
--Create test cases for our games, checking to ensure that all possible scenarios are accounted for.
--Find issues within games, documenting the steps to reproduce them.
--Implement automated testing where appropriate to handle large scale tests.
--Work closely with development team to track and fix bugs.
--Manage release notes.
Requirements:
--Familiarity with browsers including, but not limited to, Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, and Opera as well as the inner workings of websites.
--Familiarity with HTML, Javascript, CSS, and Flash.
--Ability to efficiently organize tasks and handle multiple projects at once.
--Hard-working individual with extreme attention to detail - able to think outside the box. We work hard and play hard!
The Ideal Candidate will have:
--2+ years of experience in programming and/or QA (Quality Assurance) testing.
--An interest in social gaming.
--Strong leadership skills and the ability to clearly explain issues to development team.
--Familiarity with SQL and database organization.
