InvestEdge is seeking a results-oriented individual to manage the solution knowledge base inventory, coordinate the application release process, and execute occasional client business analyst assignments.
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for all aspects of core application functional validation and documentation in relation to both new software releases and production software maintenance changes. Job responsibilities include:
Monitor, analyze, and reconcile changes made to the application software as identified in the InvestEdge change control and software version control platforms.
Work closely with the core development team and the client relationship team to understand the nature and scope of application changes in order to identify and design (or re-design) test scenarios required.
Create and maintain the inventory of test cases and functional test scripts designed to validate platform functionality of the major platform areas: trading, portfolio management, reporting, compliance, performance and system administration.
Work with technical resources to develop and maintain automated test scenarios.
Execute full regression and functional testing for new and maintenance releases, document test script results and log any defects into the InvestEdge change control system.
Create client release notes that detail the application changes made in each release. Release notes allow both internal and external users to understand the most recent changes to the application software.
Maintain the User Guide Library.
Script, execute and record end-client webinars to review application functional changes planned for delivery in new releases.
The position requires knowledge of terms and concepts used in the investment management and investment processing industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following areas: portfolio management, trading, performance measurement, and trust operations.
The position requires strong analytical skills, and experience writing technical documentation such as system requirements, test plans, and user guides.
This position works in a fast paced environment requiring quick turnaround time on assignments, varied, non-routine daily work, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
Additional Qualifications include:
A Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or other related field.
5 years of experience in the Investment Management and/or Wealth Management Investment Processing industry.
Strong written/oral communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries is helpful.
