Plateau is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Analyst I to work at our Headquarters office in Arlington, VA, and participate in product testing. The ideal candidate will have one or more years of experience working in a fast-paced enterprise software development environment, with proven programming, analytical and testing skills. Candidate must be willing to thrive in a dynamic environment, with excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities.
Job Duties include:
o Requirements modeling and functional analysis
o Writing and updating product test plans, test cases, and scenarios
o Test execution, defect tracking and reporting
o Diagnosing customer problems and testing product patches
o Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts
o Assume other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
o Minimum of 1 year experience working in a software development / QA role
o Considerable experience analyzing requirements a must
o Experience in producing testing documents and a deep knowledge of testing methodologies
o Technical understanding of software components and architectures
o Excellent communications skills
o Experience with automation frameworks and tools (preferred)
o Degree in Computer Science or Information Management or equivalent is required.
