QC Analyst - Temporary Position Acceleron Pharma

Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual to join the Quality Control group for 6 months in our Microbiology, Bioassay and Analytical laboratories. Successful candidate must be able to multi-task and have experience with a wide variety of laboratory techniques and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:


Responsibility in the QC Microbiology laboratory including; environmental monitoring of GMP facilities, Bioburden, LAL and sending out of samples
Responsibility in the QC Analytical and Bioassay laboratories including; Potency assays (ELISA and cell based), SDS PAGE, SEC, HPLC and A280

Basic Qualifications:


BS in Biology or related field with 1-4 years of industry/Quality experience
Prefer experience in Quality functions such as writing deviations, handling GMP investigations and assay qualifications
