Qualitative Analyst Business Intelligence Advisors, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Profile:
Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA) is a trusted independent investment research and training firm serving institutional investors and hedge funds. BIA uses a proprietary behavioral assessment methodology to systematically analyze the language used in the disclosures of publicly traded companies in order to alert investors to instances in which management teams are conveying less than complete and reliable information.
BIA's proprietary Tactical Behavior Assessment (TBA-) methodology has its roots in the national intelligence community and has been honed over the last ten years through BIA's analysis of corporate disclosures including thousands of earnings calls. The methodology consists of patterns of specific verbal and non-verbal behaviors that are reliable indicators of the speaker's belief in the message they are conveying, from which an experienced analyst can draw precise conclusions about what the speaker actually knows and thinks about a topic.
The Analyst role focuses on the systematic application of TBA to prepare reports analyzing corporate disclosures, primarily public company quarterly earnings calls. BIA's clients rely on these reports in making investment decisions and as a source of the questions to ask management.

--Understanding of business strategy, operations and financial statements
--Interest in the psychology of communication and persuasion
--Ability to reach and clearly articulate reasoned conclusions
--Dedicated work ethic
--Strong desire to learn
--Comfortable receiving direct constructive feedback
