Role
Sermo is looking for experienced Pharmaceutical Market Researchers to join our team on a contract basis. The individual(s) will be responsible for the execution of qualitative research using Sermo?s products. This individual will play an important role in supporting business growth by providing information and insight to help clients meet their business goals. The role requires experience in research design, analysis, interview moderation, and interaction with clients.
Responsibilities
Design and execute qualitative research projects using primary data to create and present high quality report deliverables
Project execution will include collecting research objectives, data extraction, manipulation, analysis and presentation of insights:
Participation in project meetings (kickoff, updates, etc.) with accurate note-taking
Background research on disease states and our clients? current business situations
Design and creation of PowerPoint deliverables, present findings over phone when requested by client
Possible moderation responsibilities
The researcher will pay extremely close attention to detail and ensure that all client research needs are met and reflected in analytics conclusions and insights
Manage and execute follow-up client requests
Qualifications
3+ years career experience, and a solid understanding of qualitative market research methods is required
Professional experience in healthcare market research and/or the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
Strong hands-on experience in data analysis and interpretation
Experience in marketing research study design, experience at an MR supplier
Solid understanding of statistics
Experience moderating focus groups and/or in-depth interviews
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate highly-technical or complex products and concepts to non-technical clients and senior management
High degree of skill in core Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized data and analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS)
