QA - Position Summary
The candidate will design, develop and perform activities that assess the quality, performance and scalability of software prototypes and solutions, using manual and automated test tools.
Required Skills & Experience
?Bachelor?s degree in relevant engineering/science field (CS, CE, EE preferred), or comparable experience.
?Experience with automated testing tools such as: QTP, Selenium, SOAPUI, Mercury Load runner, Microsoft Visual Studio, HP Quality Center, etc.
?Testing of Web 2.0 / RIA applications is a strong plus, Knowledge of Java, .Net, Unix, Linux as well as browser based testing is strongly preferred.
?Three to Five years experience with QA testing on ERP type application/ Systems.
?Ability to analyze system features and functionality and determining the best approach and techniques to test (black box, End To End Testing, data integrity, security, automation)
?Proven ability to execute test plans/cases in accordance with best practices & techniques, gather metrics, record raw data and prepare test results
?Ability to develop and document program test strategies and detailed test plans
?Experience working side-by-side with software Developers, Architects, DBAs, Requirements Analysts, etc? to identify root causes and develop solutions

?Formal training in Quality Assurance / Testing methodologies, processes, and practices
?Highly reliable and capable of meeting work schedule/deadlines consistently
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
?Foster positive work relationships with all stakeholders - customers, clients, co-workers, suppliers, other contractors and visitors, to meet identified contractual obligations
?Ability to adapt to unanticipated support needs and changing priorities
