Quality Assurance Analyst CallCopy

We are seeking dedicated quality assurance analyst to assist in the identification and testing of defects prior to general availability of software releases. Our ideal candidate is well versed in diverse testing methodologies, detail oriented, eager to learn new technologies, and able to work independently.

Job responsibilities include:

Identify and document defects.
Design and create scripts for automated and regression testing.
Recreate and document defects reported by clients.
Maintain general quality assurance policies and documentation.
Must be able to explain defects to developers and detailed recreation steps.
Must be able to work independently on projects and tasks.
Provides regular updates to supervisor and project managers with regard to project progress and outstanding issues.

Qualifications:

Computer science degree or equivalent work experience.
A minimum 3 years experience in quality assurance or software testing .
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues & operating system issues.
Strong understanding of software.
Windows 7, Window XP, Server 2003/2008.
Working knowledge of SQL and general scripting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Telephony experience is also a plus.
