The Quality Assurance Analyst - Content is responsible for ensuring the quality of Knovel?s interactive content and tools. This position will be responsible for developing testing processes and procedures, including scripts as needed, as part of the content releases and post-release, and lifecycle management efforts.

Key Responsibilities include:

Work closely with internal stakeholders and outsourcing partners to ensure timely completion of all assigned QA tasks.
Prioritize identified issues based on business/customer impacts Check that tabular data can be found using search criteria as given in the searchability specification
Check calibrations of digitizable graphs
Check units and conversions in axis displays of equation plotters and graph plotters
Check html tagging (e.g., subscripts and superscripts) and html entity encoding (e.g., characters from non-Roman alphabets) for accuracy
Check links in table cells to verify that their targets are correct, and correctly rendered
Check columns for sorting, both descending and ascending
Validate fixes for data bugs

Requirements

Bachelor?s degree in computer science, or a technical/engineering discipline;
4+ years of experience in creating test procedures, processes and scripts based on business/technical requirements, and using various testing methods in an content/media or engineering company;
Software development experience preferred;
Proficiency reading and understanding design specification documents;
A basic understanding of web technologies and software development processes is essential, as are strong interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills;
