We have a diverse and talented team of employees who come to us from many kinds of backgrounds. We have an immediate need for a talented, experienced Quality Assurance Analyst who will report to our Quality Assurance Manager in our Naperville, IL office.
Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst works closely with the product development and technical teams to ensure quality is embedded in all products throughout the development lifecycle. The Quality Assurance Analyst works as a liaison between these groups and is responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of test strategy tools and documentation on a variety of platforms for multiple Legacy.com products simultaneously.
Responsibilities

Define, develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance methodology and procedures, including test plans, test cases, specs, tools, and other technical documentation based on defined workflows, use cases, and business requirements
Develop reusable, flexible, accurate, well-documented strategies for a broad user base with extreme attention to detail
Collaborate with the QA Manager as well as product development and technical teams in manual application testing, including system, functional, regression, usability, and acceptance testing
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for improved test efficiency and coverage
Deploy code to the test environment and execute tests in the production and test environments
Troubleshoot detected defects and communicate findings to the development team for resolution
Coordinate with product development and/or technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues and defects from different tests and groups in a timely manner
Assess and revise test procedures and associated documentation based on test results and/or changes in product design
Perform the necessary configuration changes to the test environment for product releases
Ensure quality assurance and testing activities are established and enforced across appropriate releases and projects
Communicate with Quality Assurance team members regarding status updates, project coordination, and support

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
2-4 years of relevant software quality assurance methodology and procedure experience, specializing in web-based environments (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Keen attention to detail to catch the most subtle defects
Self-motivated, with the ability to work well independently
Excellent time management skills with the ability to determine and set task and project priorities and coordinate multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
Flexibility as it relates to workflow and changing business needs
Strong multitasking abilities
Outstanding organizational and written/verbal communications skills
Background with MS SQL helpful
