Primary Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is the individual who will have primary responsibility to provide software testing to our web based products.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will also serve as an analyst to the project team.
The Analyst will serve as the primary resource prior to product release to customers.
Knowledge Requirements:
Quality Assurance experience of web based products.
Experience with web based testing tools (Jira, Quality Center, QTP, etc.)
Insurance or financial services experience. Knowledge of life insurance industry practices, including knowledge of rules, processes, and forms used in new business applications for life products and annuities is a plus.
Application knowledge is desirable so as to be able to work effectively with end users.
Familiarity with the complete scope of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, disseminate high-level concepts into details, distinguish true needs from amongst the collection of requirements, and create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
Writing skills to communicate information concisely and effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.
Interpersonal skills to liaison extensively with customers and internal stakeholders to help negotiate priorities, resolve conflicts among project stakeholders, and establish deadlines.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree ? preferably in Computer Science or Actuarial Science.
Minimum 1 year related experience required.
Previous experience in insurance or financial services industry is desired.
Actuarial experience is a plus.
Bilingual in Japanese (Verbal and Written)
