RedBrick Health is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Analyst to perform testing and quality assurance for RedBrick Health?s application portfolio. These applications include consumer websites, operations management applications, and internal software systems. RedBrick Health is looking for QA analysts who can work with others to understand business requirements and develop corresponding test plans, test cases, and test data, as well as execute manual testing scenarios. Essential Job Functions
With cross-functional teams facilitate and document product requirements through user stories and user experience designs as part of the agile software development process.
With cross-functional teams build and test new applications, new product features and enhance existing product features as part of the agile software development process.
Develop process and tools in order to operationalize the products and continually improve practices and processes.
Articulate product goals, high-level requirements, and rationale for decisions.
Monitor product performance against objectives post-launch, identifying improvement opportunities.
Essential Job Requirements
Education: A bachelor of science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent technology experience.
Experience: 3-5 years of software quality assurance experience.
Experience with and thorough understanding of formal testing processes.
Test case and test scenario writing both manual and automation.
Defines, creates, and maintains test data as needed.
Understanding of data quality principles and practices.
Knowledge of web technologies and n-tier browser-based applications.
Experience with and thorough understanding of formal defect management processes.
Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting complex, distributed software applications.
Ability to work well with other teams to resolve issues and defects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with formal software development methodologies such as Agile Methodologies (XP, Scrum), etc.
Knowledge of the healthcare and health insurance sectors.
Knowledge and experience in a healthcare environment with HIPAA requirements.
Strong SQL Skills.
