We are looking for a self-directed, team-oriented individual to focus on testing our product and platform. This position requires initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm. You should like to break things, be exhilarated when you discover that really complicated bug, and be detail-oriented in your descriptions of bugs. You should be comfortable with manual testing of features, but also work toward automation. You should be able to identify missing test cases, manage the testing process, as well as estimate and prioritize work to ensure a high-quality product. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including analysis and requirements definition, design, user documentation and operational rollout to other teams.
Specific Job Responsibilities Include:
Develop and maintain test plans and specific test cases for each release cycle
Execute tests as part of major and minor release cycles
Develop and manage a repository of test data to support our testing efforts
Participate in the complete software development life cycle including analysis, design, and operational rollout of developed features
Efficiently maintain timely communication between test, development and product teams
Adhere to company procedures for proper execution of compliance, training and regulatory duties
Other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills Include:
Practical knowledge of SQL for data verification
Practical knowledge of functional test automation
Practical knowledge of programming in C#, .NET, Java, or other web development languages
Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
Ability to quickly acquire and apply new technical and industry knowledge
Strong written and verbal communication skills
2+ years? experience preferred or an internship in software quality assurance with web applications
Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field
