Requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or have equivalent experience.
Understanding of Quality Assurance processes
Good handling of Statistical tools and techniques used in defect/performance analysis
Have a passion for quality
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and be a proactive player in the team
Have a good eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of a quality assurance strategy for the technical groups
Collaborate with the metric gathering and analysis initiatives
Design from the ground up all testing procedures and standards to ensure quality end-user software, books, mobile and other products
Areas of responsibilities will include planning for acceptance, functional, regression and load testing
Collaborate with process improvement initiatives by:
Identifying potential improvement points through quality assurance activities
Identify new quality metrics and processes related to performance measurement
Developing new tools and techniques for quality assurance activities
Collaborate with other areas to improve overall quality and performance inside the company
Train other team members in quality assurance processes and tools usage
Preferred:
Experience testing/developing in any of the following areas: ASP.NET, jQuery, SQL Server, javascript, Mobile Apps, Mobile Websites, Facebook
Start-up/small company experience
Exposure to testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, etc.)
A good sense of humor
Experience in process improvement / quality assurance
