College Prowler is a rapidly growing startup located in Pittsburgh, PA. We?re a fun, energetic bunch, looking for a bright, tech-savvy Quality Assurance Analyst to help test our website. You'll work with the Lead QA Analyst and with developers to design and execute tests to root out bugs and keep our website safe from harm.Responsibilities:
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects in new features for web and mobile?in other words, try to break stuff
Take business requirements and turn them into systematically thought out test plans
Perform test cases and record results with a high degree of accuracy
Make suggestions to improve our functional, regression, load, performance, and security testing processes
If possible, write automated tests using tools you will learn, for example, Selenium WebDriver and NUnit
Requirements:
A love for finding bugs and making software bullet-proof
Highly tech savvy, as demonstrated by extracurricular tech projects
Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
Able to convey criticism in a helpful manner
Systematic, analytical thinker who is not afraid to ask questions
Excellent writing skills
Empirical frame of reference (you learn by running experiments)
Bonus points for:
Experience with software testing or software development
Startup or small company experience
A good sense of humor
Experience with C#, NUnit, SQL, Javascript, Selenium IDE, Selenium WebDriver, or uTest
