Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for auditing, grading and recording defects on completed RedVision products to ensure all quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, and other applicable instruments to ensure final product meets defined company standards, procedures and parameters. Verify vesting and encumbrances to title.
Identify order errors and determine the appropriate corrective action, communicating document issues to appropriate managers and searcher/examiners. Resolve issues and collaborate with team to put measures in place to avoid identified issue recurring.
Assist quality assurance analyst in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective action as needed.
Log quality grades to determine monthly scores; report all detected defects into Audit Review form.
Work in conjunction with the training department to enhance training materials based on audit and data analysis results that will ensure quality procedures designated by region.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is sedentary, typically employee sits comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as paper, books, or notebooks.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment that requires normal safety precautions.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
2 + years experience in Title industry experience
Proficient in RedVision systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Web navigation required. Must have basic knowledge of other Microsoft Suite applications
Proficient in use of facsimile, scanners, copier, computer equipment and communication devices
Preferred:
Associates Degree
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required:
Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner
Working knowledge of legal documents affecting title to real property and methods by which they are recorded, liens, encumbrances and circumstances that affect title to real property
Knowledge of local filing requirements, recording fees, and abstracting procedures
Knowledge of surveys and plotting metes and bounds
Familiarity with all procedures performed in title report production?including abstracts, examinations, document retrieval, surveys, plat maps, tax data, etc.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail, concentration, and accuracy
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment
