Opportunity: Quality Assurance Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the overall quality of care for GetWellNetwork clients and the GetWellNetwork system.
Responsibilities:
Create test plans for individual functions and assist in creating overall test plans for product releases. Test products to ensure they perform as designed. Contribute to overall testing efforts including cross-platform support, installation testing and regression testing.
Contribute to the entire development process and the role of QA in it, including suggesting product enhancements, participating in design and prototype activities, as well as postmortems.
Assist in product delivery activities, including workload planning, gathering of readme and release notes information, and final build testing.
Enter bugs in the problem database, track status and test fixes.
Review documentation and contribute enhancements and examples. Also review training materials and marketing materials for accuracy and contribute to content.
Contribute toward enhancing the GetWellNetwork QA process and tools, including evaluating new tools.
Assist in recreating problems and identifying workarounds for Customer Support.
Become a knowledge expert in areas of the product(s).
Required Skills
Excellent inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of quality assurance testing concepts.
Working knowledge of Web browser and Application Servers.
Familiarity in testing, deployment and performance tuning in Java/J2EE based multi-tier products.
Experience writing test documentation and other reports
Required Experience
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
At least 4-6 years of related QA experience
Proficient in both UNIX/Linux and Windows operational environments
Proficient in Unix commands
Experience with creation of test plans and test cases
Experience with Linux, Windows and Mac applications
Demonstrated experience in relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server) and knowledge of SQL
Experience with HTML, XML, JSPs, web services, Servlets
Experience with automation
Experience testing mobile devices/tablets
Experience working in a faced-paced environment
