Working within the Technology team, the Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure that our software products are accurate, user friendly and bug-free when they go to market. This individual will help flesh out software requirements and eliminate any mistakes along the way. As such, he/she must understand how new features should be implemented in our products and be comfortable creating a course of action for bug fixes. This role requires a person that is both assertive and thorough; this person must be confident in identifying issues with software in the product pipeline and be comfortable standing behind our final products for their accuracy and client satisfaction. Candidates must be ambitious and have the desire and ability to make a difference in a fast growing environment.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will report to leadership within the technology team. Day to day, he/she will work with various members of the technology team. The Quality Assurance Engineer will coordinate with the product development team to ensure the seamless rollout of new products while also working alongside our team of developers to identify and fix bugs in our current product pipeline. This person will lead a small Quality Assurance team, and as such must be comfortable in a fast paced, independent setting.
When will I start? What will I make?
Ideal candidates will be local (based in Chicago) and have availability to start a new full time position in the next 3-6 weeks. The interview process should take no more than 2-4 weeks from initial phone interview to offer letter. We are happy to discuss compensation including base salary, bonus targets and equity in the first interview.

Bachelor?s degree from a recognized academic institution
2-5 years of QA testing experience
Experience testing web, enterprise, and mobile applications
Knowledge of QA methodologies, test tools, and Agile processes
Experience using the latest test automation and scripting frameworks, including:
TestDirector, Test Manager
Strong analytical and logic analysis skills
Capable of troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis
Highly organized and detail oriented
Possess strong communication skills
Is intelligent and passionate about what they do
Is friendly and likeable. We wouldn?t hire someone we wouldn?t like to sit next to on a plane for 12 hours.
