Quality Assurance Engineer
Summary of Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be proficient and proven in the testing of a scalable application using a mix of leading, industry standard and emerging technologies.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives:
As a QA Engineer, you will perform automation, functional and application tests.
Create and executes automated testing procedures and programs.
Develop automated test scripts based on regression test scenarios
Report significant defects and tracks all defects and project issues in a timely manner.
Analyze test results from a technical standpoint and ability to isolate defects
Track automated test coverage and other metrics.
Work closely with the US QA team leads and report weekly automation test coverage progress.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or similar disciplines with emphasis on software engineering.
6 to 8 years of experience in a quality assurance team environment.
Experience with Automation test tools ? QTP & Selenium.
Working Knowledge of Agile Test Methodology is essential.
Have a proven track record of developing automation frame work or working with an existing one
Ability to work with distributed teams.
Spoken and written English skills with an ability to communicate ideas, problems and solutions effectively with QA/ team leads
Must possess programming skills ? VB script, Java script and knowledge of C# and .NET technologies
Strong verbal and written communications skills; good presentation skills.
